March in the Parade

Sign-up today to march

Join Atlanta’s quirkiest parade!

Deadline: Saturday, April 13 11:59pm

The 52nd Inman Park Festival Parade will make its annual roll through the streets of Inman Park at 2:00pm on Saturday April 27. Inman Park is proud to present Atlanta’s quirkiest and most colorful parade led by the Inman Park butterfly and followed by marching bands, floats, art cars, drill teams, mascots, clowns, jugglers, politicians and many, many more.

Parade Route, Line-up, Rain or Shine!

The Parade takes place rain or shine. The Parade route begins on Edgewood Avenue at Spruce Street, goes down Edgewood to Hurt Street, turns left on Hurt Street to Euclid Avenue, and turns right on Euclid Avenue to Austin Avenue where it disbands at the traffic light in front of Little 5 Points Community Center. The Parade route length is one (1) mile. The Parade steps off promptly at 2pm; however, all Parade entries must report to the Line-Up staging area on Edgewood between Krog and Spruce no later than 1:00 pm.

Parade Prizes

Self-built entries are judged by a panel of local artists and art aficionados. Cash prizes for these “homemade/homegrown” entries will be awarded. To be considered for a Prize, the entry name must be prominently displayed and clearly legible for the judges.

Parade Rules

Fees:  A fee of $500 will be charged to all politicians, candidates running for public offices, and to all for-profit businesses outside the 30307 zip code. Parade fees are waived for Festival sponsors and 501(c)3’s; apply using the “Fee Waived Application”. Please note the fee will be charged upon approval to be in the Parade.

These statutes include public decency, alcohol, controlled substances, and public safety. Any Parade entry displaying lewd behavior or materials will be removed from the Parade route.

Animals: No live animals are allowed in the Parade.
Parade Size: The Parade is limited to 80 entries. Participants are reviewed for appropriateness and are selected on a first come, first serve basis. We encourage you to apply early to guarantee a spot!
